Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Rare Reserve Group is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected with any fragrance brand, manufacturer, or designer referenced on this website.
All brand names, trademarks, fragrance names, bottle designs, and other identifying marks referenced on this website belong to their respective owners. Brand and fragrance names are used solely to accurately identify the authentic fragrance from which a Rare Reserve Group decant is produced.
Rare Reserve Group does not manufacture the original fragrances referenced on this website.
What We Sell
Rare Reserve Group sells independently prepared fragrance samples and decants.
Our decants are hand-filled by Rare Reserve Group from authentic fragrance bottles into our own independent sample and travel-size atomizers. Unless a listing specifically states otherwise, customers are purchasing the selected quantity of fragrance in a Rare Reserve Group decant atomizer and not the original manufacturer’s retail bottle or manufacturer-packaged sample.
The appearance, size, shape, labeling, and packaging of our decant atomizers are independent from the original fragrance manufacturer’s retail packaging.
Authenticity Guarantee
Rare Reserve Group does not sell counterfeit, replica, imitation, clone, or fake fragrances.
Authenticity is a requirement for every fragrance offered through Rare Reserve Group. Every fragrance offered for sale or used to produce our decants must pass our sourcing and authentication review.
Any fragrance that cannot be reasonably authenticated or that raises authenticity concerns during our review process is rejected and is not offered for sale or used to produce Rare Reserve Group decants.
Rare Reserve Group will never offer for sale or use a fragrance that is counterfeit or inauthentic.
Sourcing & Authentication
Whenever possible, the original retail fragrances used for Rare Reserve Group decants are purchased directly from authorized retailers, established fragrance boutiques, reputable distributors, and other trusted retail sources.
Certain rare, discontinued, limited-production, discounted, or otherwise difficult-to-source fragrances may no longer be readily available through traditional retail channels. In these circumstances, Rare Reserve Group may source authentic fragrances through established third-party resale marketplaces or trusted independent sellers.
Fragrances obtained through secondary-market sources undergo additional authentication review before being offered for sale or used to produce decants.
Depending on the fragrance and available reference materials, our authentication process may include:
- Bottle and packaging inspection: We examine the bottle, packaging, labeling, printing quality, engraving, presentation, atomizer, cap, construction, and other identifying characteristics and compare them with known authentic examples.
- Weight and construction verification: When authentic reference information or a verified retail example is available, we compare physical characteristics such as bottle weight, cap weight, glass thickness, glass construction, dimensions, component fit and finish, and overall build quality. Material differences from known authentic examples are treated as potential authenticity concerns and require further review.
- Batch and production information: We review batch or production codes when available and evaluate whether identifying information and production characteristics are consistent with known authentic examples.
- Seller and provenance review: For secondary-market purchases, we evaluate available seller history, reputation, transaction history, photographs, proof of purchase, and other provenance information when available.
- Fragrance testing: The fragrance itself is tested for its expected scent profile, development, dry down, performance, color, presentation, and other identifiable characteristics.
- Direct comparison testing: Whenever an authentic reference is available, we may perform a side-by-side comparison against the same fragrance obtained directly from an authorized retailer, an official retail sample, or another previously verified authentic source. This comparison may include the opening, progression of notes, dry down, overall scent profile, performance, and physical presentation.
No single characteristic is relied upon by itself. Our authentication review considers the fragrance and its physical characteristics collectively before it is approved for inventory.
Products that fail our authentication review, present unresolved inconsistencies, or otherwise cannot be reasonably authenticated are rejected and are never offered for sale or used to produce Rare Reserve Group decants.
Product Images & Original Bottles
Original fragrance bottles may appear in product photographs to identify the authentic fragrance from which a decant is produced and to provide customers with a visual reference.
The presence of an original retail bottle in a product image does not mean that the original bottle is included with the purchase. Unless a product listing explicitly states otherwise, the listing is for a Rare Reserve Group fragrance sample or decant only.
Product pages identify the available decant sizes and provide additional information about what the customer will receive.
Trademarks & Brand Ownership
All third-party trademarks, fragrance names, brand names, logos, bottle designs, and other intellectual property displayed or referenced on this website remain the property of their respective owners.
Their use by Rare Reserve Group is for product identification and informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as indicating affiliation, authorization, sponsorship, or endorsement by the respective trademark owners.
Rare Reserve Group LLC, Rare Reserve Group branding, our decant presentation, and our independent retail services are separate from the fragrance manufacturers referenced throughout the website.
